Careful handling of your information

Board evaluations require clear agreements and controlled access.

Questionnaires are available to invited participants. Organisation coordinators can follow completion and send reminders; they cannot view individual answers. Authorised BoardResearch advisers prepare the analysis and report.

Responses are treated confidentially. Open responses may contain wording or examples that identify their author. We take this into account when preparing the report.

For each evaluation, we agree the purpose of processing, access, reporting, retention and any research use. Contact BoardResearch if you have questions about the arrangements for your evaluation.

Clear responsibilities throughout the process

Confidentiality is part of the evaluation design, not simply a statement at the end. The arrangements should be understood by everyone taking part.

For participants

A personal invitation gives access to the relevant questionnaire. Participants do not receive access to other people’s answers or the organisation’s administration.
